This workshop will explore the influence of church harmony upon early jazz. Although hymns are staples of traditional jazz, the harmonies as written are seldom explained in the context of instrumental jazz.
All instrumentalists are welcome, and concert-pitch and transposed Bb and Eb parts will be provided.
